Ho Chi Minh City – On October 17, 2025, the Demo Day event at RMIT University Nam Saigon officially concluded the “Women in Climate Change Accelerator 2025”. This marked the capstone of a 6-month intensive incubation and support journey, implemented by the Women’s Initiative for Startups and Entrepreneurship (WISE).
Distinct from typical support programs, the WISE Accelerator focused on a very specific group: businesses led by women that are either directly impacted by or pioneering solutions for the climate sector. The program was specifically designed to address the “dual challenge” faced by the 12 participating enterprises. They are not only solving for business growth, which is already hindered by gender biases, but also adapting and transforming within a business environment constantly affected by climate change.
From Foundational Training to In-depth 1-on-1 Mentorship
Over the 6-month program, the 12 participating enterprises (including XSolar, CAS, FUWA, Nguyen Khoi Xanh, Ecosoi, Recrec, Moc Truly Hue, ABAVINA, VITABA, Vitamin D2 Organic, VECA, and Rueco) were equipped with foundational business knowledge. The topics were designed to be highly practical, focusing on key business skills such as sales, branding, user behavior analysis, fundraising strategy, and sustainable cash flow management.
The standout feature of the program was its 1-on-1 mentorship. Recognizing that each enterprise faces unique challenges, experts worked closely with them, analyzing and providing tailored solutions for each founder’s specific obstacles. Whether the issue was operational optimization, pricing strategy, or distribution channel expansion, the mentorship sessions focused on breaking through real-world bottlenecks. This practical support yielded clear results. According to WISE, the majority of participating enterprises recorded strong revenue growth this year, affirming the effectiveness of this in-depth, personalized support model.
Demo Day: Where Achievements Shine
The culminating event on October 17 was the opportunity for the 12 women entrepreneurs to present their impressive achievements after 6 months.
Significantly, the Demo Day was held within the framework of the “Vietnam Climate Tech Showcase 2025,” hosted by New Energy Nexus, which brought together over 300 delegates, including investors, partners, and businesses in the climate tech field. Participating in and presenting at the Climate Tech Showcase not only gave the women-led businesses a valuable opportunity to connect and expand their networks but also significantly enhanced their visibility within Vietnam’s climate innovation ecosystem.
Here, 5 outstanding enterprises (XSolar, FUWA, Nguyen Khoi Xanh, Ecosoi, and Recrec) presented their diverse solutions for climate change, ranging from solar energy and biological products from agricultural waste to insect-based nutritional food. In parallel, the product exhibition area for all 12 enterprises attracted significant interest, giving attendees a chance to experience the climate solutions firsthand.
Following the discussion panels, the “Speed Dating” activity provided direct 1-on-1 connections between the enterprises and investors, as well as potential buyers, opening up many potential opportunities.
As founder Vu Thi Lieu of Ecosoi shared,
Through the pitching and product exhibition at the Demo Day, Ecosoi’s model gained wider visibility. More importantly, we had the chance to meet directly with potential investors, which is a crucial preparatory step for Ecosoi’s funding round next year.
Wrapping Up the Accelerator Program
In summary, the Demo Day brought a meaningful 6-month journey to a close, honoring the growth and development of the 12 women-led enterprises in the program. The program successfully fulfilled WISE’s mission: to promote gender equality by supporting women entrepreneurs in building sustainable businesses. Although this event marks the end of this WISE-implemented accelerator program, it is also the beginning of a new, promising business journey for the enterprises.
