We invite you as a member of WISE’s network to apply to become a Cherie Blair Foundation Mentee. The Mentoring Women in Business Programme provides personalised support to women entrepreneurs through online, cross-border mentoring. Starting in November 2019, you could work with a dedicated mentor two hours a month for one year to work on your business and professional development objectives.

This unique opportunity offers women entrepreneurs a chance to build their businesses, skills, networks and profiles through cross-border, online mentoring.
How does the Mentoring Programme work? The Foundation’s programme is personalised and tailored to your needs. It is all done online using tools like Skype and WhatsApp video, which allows for flexibility and freedom. You’ll be matched with an accomplished mentor from a different country and sector who can offer new perspectives, a source of support, key business skills, motivation and accountability as you work to achieve your objectives. You’ll also gain access to a vibrant community of accomplished entrepreneurs and professionals, and have access to a wealth of support and resources.
What does it take to be admitted as a mentee? The key to success is in your commitment, both to your business and to your mentoring relationship. You must be: running (or about to launch) a business, able to meet with your mentor online at least twice each month, able to access the internet weekly, proficient in English and passionate about working with a global mentor.
The benefits are immense! Mentoring provides a tremendous learning and growth opportunity, and mentees have achieved great results. They’ve launched new products, finished business plans, gained confidence, connected with entrepreneurs across the globe, and made progress towards their goals. If selected, you’ll spend 12 months developing your business, confidence, and skills with the personalised, focused support of a mentor.
How do I take advantage of this opportunity? The first step is to review the selection criteria and complete the online application on the Foundation’s website, which helps the Foundation team find you a mentor who is a good match. Please apply by 18 September and list us as your partner organisation on the application. If successful, you will be invited to participate in an online training session and start the 12-month mentoring relationship in November.
