On April 21st 2019, the World Creativity and Innovation Day, WISE officially announced the result of Competition – Technologies for Equality and Inclusive Development for Rural Women (Tech4Equality) which was supported by the Embassy of Australia and the Embassy of Ireland with the aim to (1) Promote technology-related initiatives that improve rural women’s lives; (2) Support the implementation and growth of best initiatives; (3) Raise awareness about impact of gender equality and women empowerment; and (4) Inspire women to engage more actively in technology to make change!
The owner of 3 valuable prizes includes:
- First Prize – $10,000 AUD, granted to: “Applying Blockchain Technology into the production & extraction process of Essential Oil” project by VELA Trading & Investment Joint Stock Company
- Second Prize – $5,000 AUD, granted to “Mobile phone Application connects producers and customers” project by Foodhub.vn
- Third Prize – $3,000 AUD, granted to Minh Hong Biotech project, by One Member Limited Liability Company
