On March 6, 2019, the Competition – Technologies for Equality and Inclusion Development for rural women (Tech4equality) was officially launched and received applications for participation until the end of April 6, 2019.

The competition is organized by the Entrepreneurship and Business Support Initiative (WISE) with funding from the Australian Embassy and the Irish Embassy in Vietnam.
The competition seeks innovative innovations and ideas that benefit rural women and promote gender equality.
The total prize value is up to A $ 18,000; including 1 first prize of AUD 10,000, 1 second prize of A $ 5,000 and a third prize of AU $ 3,000. Excellent solutions will be further supported through incubation and acceleration programs.
Contest criteria
+ Women over 18 with Vietnamese nationality, living in Vietnam (individuals or groups with a representative who is a female member can participate in the contest)
+ Participants have a technology-related solution that improves the life or productivity of rural women.
+ Technology solutions can be at the idea stage, or product samples or finished products.
Deadline for submission of proposals: from March 6, 2019 to April 6, 2019
Final results will be announced on April 21 – World Innovation Day.
