On June 14th 2018, the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women – founded by Mrs. Cherie Blair – former British Prime Minister’s Lady (Tony Blair) joined WISE, Qualcomm and other partners to hold the kick-off ceremony. DevelopHer project aims to empower and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese business women to become successful business owners.
At the event, the HerVenture Application was officially launched with the reception and appreciation of the leaders of the state, agencies and organizations operating in the field of start-ups and supporting women and numerous newspapers. .
HerVenture Application aims to assist micro and small business owners, help them access lessons, suggestions and business support activities to scale their businesses.
HerVenture has 5 components relating to business development knowledge and skills. The application also suggests a personalized learning route, learning content that is both interesting and attractive, making it easier for students to arrange a timetable that fits their busy schedule. The application has a user-friendly interface, notification to remind and encourage users to progress academically with fresh content, and accessible offline. Through the application, users can also search and connect with each other based on geographic location and business lines, and share content on social networks.
“With a friendly and nice interface, HerVenture provides brief and understandable lessons about business with a length of only 6 to 8 minutes each. This allows women to study in a flexible and effective way in the vacancies between jobs, or when waiting for a bus, waiting to pick up their kids. Learning with the app is not as hard as reading a thick books, but it’s quite interesting as playing a useful game.”- Ms. Tu Thu Hien, WISE CEO shared in the Demo application section at the event.
